The Monsordo winery, Ceretto’s headquarters, is a solid building the architecture of which is elegant, but severe, and dates back to 1850. Our family needed ten years of immersion in the world of art before having the courage to venture an element as unusual as the Acino (Grape). The Grape is a bubble suspended above the Langa countryside, between our winery’s past and the future that the new millennium - just begun - held for us. More than modern, it is almost futuristic: a platform that resembles a spaceship, which you access via minimally lighted corridors along which the barrel cellars, where the wine ages, open out, until you reach the bubble where the light of the whole open countryside makes you blink in amazement.
