Bricco Asili

Bricco Asili

Bricco Asili was the first winery designed by our family specifically to produce and age wine directly at the source. Just like in French châteaux, the grapes harvested from the Asili, Bernadot and Gallina vineyards are vinified here, allowing each bunch to preserve its connection to the terroir.

The wines produced here

The Barbaresco Asili, Bernadot and Gallina wines embody the essence of Nebbiolo: delicate aromas, an elegant structure and a tannic profile that matures harmoniously. These are distinctive wines that strike a balance between fruit, freshness and the natural elegance of their terroir.

The Asili vineyard

The Asili vineyard

A historic cru and symbol of the appellation, Asili is situated at an altitude of between 260 and 290 metres, on south- and south-west-facing slopes, a location that ensures constant sunlight and consistent ripening. The soil consists of Sant’Agata Fossili marl, rich in limestone and compact clay: an ideal terroir for Nebbiolo, capable of producing unique, long-lived wines. The microclimate, characterised by constant breezes and significant daily temperature variations, helps to preserve the wine’s aromas, finesse and depth.
