Bricco Rocche
Located in the smallest single-vineyard estate in Barolo, Bricco Rocche lies at the heart of the Langhe’s most prestigious DOCG. Established in 1982, the winery in Castiglione Falletto was founded with the purpose of producing wine exclusively from grapes grown in its own vineyards within the Barolo appellation. Six crus are produced here: Bricco Rocche, Rocche di Castiglione, Brunate, Bussia, Prapò and Cannubi San Lorenzo.
In 2000, the winery was expanded with the addition of the Cubo — a contemporary architectural space that creates a dialogue between modern design, the surrounding landscape, and the rolling hills.
The wines produced here
The collection includes historic crus from the Barolo appellation – Bricco Rocche, Rocche di Castiglione, Brunate, Bussia, Cannubi San Lorenzo and Prapò – made from Nebbiolo grapes and carefully aged to express power, elegance and longevity.
The Bricco Rocche vineyard
The Bricco Rocche vineyard, situated on one of the most central hills within the appellation, benefits from soils rich in Diano sandstone, south-east/south-west-facing slopes and an altitude of around 350–370 metres. It is in this setting that Nebbiolo reaches its full potential.
The Cubo
In 2000, we renovated the Bricco Rocche Winery in two complementary directions: underground, by expanding the spaces dedicated to ageing Barolo, and above ground, with the creation of the Cubo. This panoramic, transparent, geometric structure offers a 360-degree view over the vineyards of Castiglione Falletto, designed to engage with the landscape without disturbing its balance.
